Bronze Tyrannosaurus Rex

Research Casting International was commissioned to mold, cast and mount a bronze Tyrannosaurus rex for the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana. A first of its kind, the 6,500 pound skeleton was unveiled at the 2001 Society of Vertebrate Paleontology conference in Bozeman

Life-size Bronze Mastodon

RCI was commissioned to sculpt, mold and cast in bronze three life size fleshed-out Mastodons for the Indiana State Museum and Purdue University in Fort Wayne.

This commission involved creating a rubber mold, producing waxes and ceramic shell mold, casting in bronze, chasing and patinating.

Bronze floor tiles

Using photos as a guide, we sculpted twelve ¼ inch thick relief panels to the specifications of the museum’s designer. The panels were molded, cast in bronze and then embedded into a terrazzo floor.
